Religion and Cultural Sensitivity Course
Rabbi Yosef Carlebach recently taught dozens of US Customs and Border Patrol Officers about the history, culture, and religious needs of the larger Jewish Community. The Rabbi was invited as part of the US Customs training its Officers and enlightening them with the varied religions and cultures that they see daily as millions of travelers pass through the metropolitan NY and NJ airports and ports of entry.

This program was introduced by the Director-US Dept. of Homeland Security and the US Customs and Border Protection.

Rabbi Yosef Carlebach is founding rabbi and Director of Chabad House at Rutgers University, the largest Jewish Student Center in the world.  In addition, he is responsible for the creation of ten additional Chabad Centers throughout Central New Jersey.   Rabbi Carlebach serves as spiritual leader of Congregation Sons of Israel at the Jersey Shore and is Chaplain for NJ State Police and NJ Transit Police.
He has lectured extensively world wide and has accompanied both Governor Murphy and Governor Christie on their official state visit to Israel.
