Camp Gan Israel of Central NJ visited Washington DC, with stops at the White House, Capitol Hill, Veteran Affairs HQ and many other DC landmarks.

On the way to a meeting at Congressman Pallone's office the campers had the opportunity to meet with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.

Later in the day, Camp Gan Israel was invited to the VA Headquarters to the Secretary's office and met with the Director to discuss how the campers can make a difference by volunteering and helping out.
