As the steel roof is being installed on the new 55,000 sq. ft. expansion project of Chabad House at Rutgers, an aerial view was taken by Rabbi Mendy Carlebach and pilot Al Meghnagi. The photos depict the 4 story project, which will feature a Kosher Dining Hall- Auditorium accommodating 750 students, an international coffee house, student lounges, and housing for 72 additional students. The project is on schedule to be completed by the new semester this upcoming September, and has been touted by the media as the world's largest 'mega Chabad House'.
The ten million dollar project has been designed by the renowned architectural firm of Rotwein and Blake, and will be built contiguous to the existing 35,000 sq ft Chabad House on College Ave. in New Brunswick.
