New Jersey Chabad Leadership Meets with incoming President Jonathan Holloway of Rutgers University

As New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced the FY 2021 New Jersey State Budget, he chose the outdoor SHI Football Stadium at Rutgers University as the site for this annual event.

The Governor's Office invited community leaders from across the state.Chabad Rabbis, Yosef Carlebach and Mendy Carlebach, attended this time honored occasion. At the event, they were introduced to the incoming President of Rutgers University, Dr. Jonathan Holloway, and invited Dr. Holloway to visit Chabad House at Rutgers, the largest Jewish center in any public university in the world. The President thanked the Chabad Rabbis for their 42-years of service to the Rutgers community. They also discussed the opening of Rutgers University and current issues.

The Governor's Deputy Chief of Staff, Deborah Cornavaca, expressed her thanks to the Chabad Rabbis, and added that all New Jersey citizens would be praying  for a "new" better year ahead.
