Last night at Chabad's Weekly Tuesday Night JCafe, the students of Chabad organized a card and letter writing campaign to express their appreciation for our brave Veterans of War, and today, they distributed them to over 30 area veterans.
Needless to say, the Vets were OVERJOYED to receive notes from college students who still remember their self-sacrifice for us!
"Freedom ain't cheap," one Vietnam veteran said. A World War II veteran said, "We love you Rutgers students for remembering us and keeping us in mind.
Had no idea young people were thinking of us!"
