President of Poland attends Funeral of Holocaust Survivor and renowned Chabad NJ Supporter
The Honorable Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, was present at the funeral of Mr. Edward Mosberg.
Edward Mosberg, who passed away at 96, was a world-renowned Holocaust Survivor and Educator. He traveled the world and spoke to audiences throughout North America, Europe, and Israel. Most recently he was honored with the “Eternal Light Award” from Chabad House at Rutgers University's 43rd National Founder's Anniversary Dinner.
President Duda eulogized Mr. Mosberg and spoke in his native Polish (with translation), with an emotional and brotherly message. The President announced that upon returning to Poland, he would be posthumously honoring Mr. Mosberg with Poland’s highest civilian Merit Award.
The 500 funeral participants and Mosberg Family were visibly moved by the fond farewell message to Mr. Edward Mosberg.
