Message from Rabbi Yosef Carlebach

Chabad House's Executive Director, Rabbi Yosef Carlebach, and Administrator, Rabbi Mendy Carlebach, who was at the scene as the tragedy unfolded, share the following message, “Our Hearts go to the families of all the deceased, Leah Mindel Ferencz, Moshe Dovid Deutsch, Douglas Miguel Rodriguez, and Jersey City Police Detective Joseph Seals. As we approach the festive season of Chanukah, it is our hope and prayer that the darkness of this unfathomable act of terrorism, will be countered many times over by the lighting of millions of the Chanukah candles by millions of our brethren. May we celebrate the upcoming festival of Chanukah and the redemption of our people speedily in our days, Amen.”
