The Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the New Jersey Headquarters of the FBI visited and spoke to the staff, Rabbis, and students at Rutgers Chabad House on December 14, 2021.

SAC George M. Crouch, Jr., of the FBI, spent several hours engaged in conversations with the rabbis of Chabad House.  The FBI Special Agent in Charge, then spent several hours engaging the students of Chabad House with many personal stories of his life as a U.S. Marine, and subsequently as a FBI agent on missions in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, and other global points that the agency dispatched him.

The students, who were attending the Chabad weekly J-Cafe, were enthralled by his talk, and kept him in Chabad House for hours with a panoply of questions.  SAC Crouch was presented with a "Menorah Award" by chaplain Rabbis, Yosef Carlebach, Mendy Carlebach, Joel Freedman, and Baruch Goodman, for his distinguished service to protect the USA, and mankind in general.   

Rabbi Yosef Carlebach, founding Rabbi and Executive Director of Chabad House, stated, "this visit again allowed our students, residents, and guests to realize that Chabad at Rutgers is recognized and famous as a  "home" to see and to be seen. Think of how the values and choices of a young man or woman can be influenced by an evening with outstanding public servants. Chabad House continues to strive to be the destination place for seven thousand Jewish students at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey."
