Chabad House at Rutgers, the largest Chabad House in the world is presently constructing 3 new apartments on its College Ave. complex.   

As the need for more housing for students has grown, and as Rutgers University is the choice for close to 7,000 Jewish students, Chabad House will be nearing capacity at its separate men's and women's dormitories.  The construction is expected to be completed before move-in date of  September 1, and will feature deluxe furnished apartment units for 9 students. The expanded Chabad House is expecting to house 90 students, and to provide Kosher Meals for 500 students daily.
