As Chabad House at Rutgers University celebrates its 36th Anniversary, the Gala Dinner on December 11 brought together 500 participants.   Community leaders, captains of Industry,  friends and supporters gathered to mark this significant event, and to give honor to the memory of Mr. Harry Franco, Mayor of Deal, and to pay tribute to Mr. Jeffries Shein.

 

The following are 3 videos that depicts the daily life at Chabad House, and  the unique relationship that Mr. Harry Franco had with Rabbi Yosef Carlebach.  In addition, it tells the story of how a young couple - searching desperately for an apartment in 1978, were destined to come into contact with Mr. Jeffries Shein, who would in turn become a pillar of support.  Their combined efforts would set the tone, vision, and ultimately, the plan for their dreams and aspirations to be realized.
